  • STORIES HANDMADE IN METAL

Used to measure time, moon has come to symbolize change and the repetitive cycles of life. An ode to lifelong traditions and rituals - and women who’ve endured them - this ring invites you to break free.

Two polished brass crescents coalesce around a finger in a simple yet graceful reminder that time is on your side.

  • MATERIALS: Brass

MEASUREMENTS: One size | Diameter (each crescent) - approx. 2.7cm

CARE: To shine the jewellery back to life, Chicory Chai recommends the granny's way. Mix a spoon full of vinegar and a pinch of salt in a bowl of water. Dip the jewelry in the bowl for 30 seconds. Take it out, rinse it under tap water and wipe it with a soft cloth. Voila!

THE STORY

Stories handmade in metal

Born out of the Romantic art movement, Chicory Chai designs have an innately Indian soul. Each a symbol of the two inspirations, ‘Chicory’ and ‘Chai’ are manifestations of the brand’s design philosophy.

Rooted in the unpretentious and rustic India. Handcrafted over industrial. Anomalous over conformist. Chicory Chai is on a mission to create a lifestyle of emancipation; a lifestyle engrained in simplicity and belonging.

Handcrafted from start to finish, each Chicory Chai piece tells its own story. Created in close collaboration with the artisans without any industrial techniques of mass production, each object is dauntlessly honest. Pieces are never plated, which makes Chicory Chai the only environmentally friendly jewelry brand in India. And the same respect is given to brass as it would be to gold.

Far from hiding the imperfections, irregularities, solders or dents - Chicory Chai embraces and celebrates them. A testimony to the uniqueness of and personal touch behind each piece, they are a reflection of each artisan’s soul and a conduit of their stories. It is this human touch that makes Chicory Chai jewelry collectible pieces of treasured luxury.
