nspired by traditional Indian design elements and based out of Singapore, House of Setu designs flawlessly bridge the gap between tradition and modernity - fusing old world charm with modern aesthetics. In fact, the name of the brand, Setu, means ‘bridge’ in Sanskrit.
Helmed by Preeti, Seo Lay and Ritu, the design trio creates colorful, casual and carefree designs that strike a perfect cord between old world and contemporary. Rooted in Indian heritage. Perfected by age-old craft of hand embroidery. Designed for the modern and the quirky. House of Setu brings together seemingly contradictory materials such as wools and metals. And finesses immaculate hand craftsmanship with new techniques and technologies, including digitalizing prints on individual sequins.
Each piece is hand crafted in small, limited quantities in their workshop in India. By the artisans the designers have trained themselves. And most everything - from delicate hand embroidery to metal accents - is produced and assembled in-house. Ensuring that each jewel is as unique as it gets.
