THE STORY

Wooden pop art tribute to self expression

They say ‘love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.’ It’s safe to say that the duo behind Yes Please! haven’t been working since March 2016. At least not on their striking urban pop art pins that is. Read more about the founders.

In fact, Yes Please! started out as a hobby. Initially making pins only for themselves and their friends, they went public when interest became too difficult to ignore. Conceived as a way to creatively express one’s mood (simply by adding a few additional details to their look), Yes Please! succumbed to demand for positive vibes. And became the talk of the trendiest Moscow boutiques only a month into their official launch.

Entirely hand crafted, each pin is laser cut out of wood and hand painted with acrylic paint. From a drawing. To a precise prototype - cut and engraved using laser. To a finished piece - painted using more than 10 different kinds of tools to achieve the ideal streak-free result. Individual pieces can take hours before they land their ‘no way this is hand made!’ look.
