Daughter of music teachers; painter since the age of 3 and avid photographer, Hannah Davis started crafting jewelry at 16 - from pretty much any material she could get her hands on. First selling it on MySpace and later at a stall at Sunday Upmarket, under the name Wolf & Moon.
Named after the eponymous first piece - the wolf and moon brooch, the brand’s designs evolved as Hannah refined her own style. Geometric shapes, colors and textures took center stage. Soon her refined aesthetic, multimedia materials and tonal color palette gained a loyal following. Wolf & Moon began attracting stockists, trading at summer festivals (her headpieces are festival royalty), and Hannah eventually opened her own studio in East London.
One of the focal inspirations behind Hannah’s jewelry, nature holds a special place in her heart. Exploring the woods behind her childhood house. Holidays filled with vast landscapes and hiking adventures. Combined with Hannah’s love for travel, color and experimentation with new textures and materials (the latest one is cork), it is manifested in head-turning geometric beauties.
What are the 5 things you cannot live without?
Who would you love to wear your pieces?
Strong women that have an individual, creative sense of style
Where would you go in a time machine?
Back to the 70s!
What super power would you like to have?
The ability to stop time – it goes too quickly!
What's your vice?
Shoes!
What's one cause that you would want people to rally behind?
We’re a big supporter of CoppaFeel!, a breast cancer awareness charity. We have designed a few pieces with them (and some more in the pipeline) where all the profits are donated. They do a brilliant job at spreading awareness and teaching women of all ages how to spot the signs of breast cancer, the most common form of cancer in the UK.
