WE'RE NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.

A creative outlet for a stay at home mom turned a full time dream, Ke Aloha was born in 2012 when Lisa Brodzinski needed to fuel her creative side after her son was born.

Having first forayed into photography (she used to have her own shop), jewelry has allowed Lisa to culminate all of her passions - from designing to creating to photography. Describing her style as “modern and delicate, handmade on Maui with aloha,” that spirit of aloha (‘love,’ ‘compassion,’ ‘mercy' in Hawaiian) truly radiates through each and every shimmery beachy piece she creates.

the interview

Why the name ‘Ke Aloha?’

“Kealoha” means beloved. And, “aloha” not only means “hello” and “goodbye” but, more importantly, it represents a way of living. A reminder to live with kindness, and the understanding that every single person is important for our collective.

What was the first piece of jewelry created under the Ke Aloha brand? And how have your designs evolved?

My original Mano necklace was a simple wire wrapped shark tooth strung on a sparkly cable chain. It was one of my best sellers from the get go, but the original wire wrapped version has evolved into an electroplated (and larger) shark tooth now strung on a medium weight curb chain.

Why handcrafted?

Something imperfect is perfect to me. As someone who has suffered from a “perfectionist disorder” - life has taught me that letting go of perfection is glorious and beautiful. And, handcrafted pieces seem to always have these little cues that “someone was here”. A representation of the care and love for what they do.

What’s your typical day ‘at the office?’

A day at the “office” involves constantly blending life as a mom, wife, business owner, and everything in between. No day is the same, but most days involve emails, website maintenance, marketing support, filling orders, and all the other “life” things...

Your favorite quote?

If I had to pick; “It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.” - Eeyore

What’s one cause you want people to rally behind?

Living with Aloha.
